6 Signs That You Are Living On Purpose
Living on purpose is an ongoing process. It's not a one-time commitment that loses momentum and becomes less important over time. It is a certain kind of alignment and connection to a deeper dimension within yourself. Purpose is an intrinsic quality of presence, and goes beyond a conceptual idea of purpose. Purpose is knowing why we are here as human beings, understanding manifestation, and recognizing our unique life purpose in service of the larger "global mandala" of life.
Living purposefully is living knowing that who we are goes beyond our conditioning, pattern, and thoughts. It is recognizing the unity of the fabric of forms and equality of human beings in their wish to live without suffering and experience happiness.
Living purposefully is living spiritually, with a sense of your own unimportance, yet significance, because each person is unique in their gifts, abilities and expression of their purpose.
So here are 6 signs that you are living purposefully
1. Allowing Mindful, Present Moment Attention
When we practice mindfulness, we allow feelings, emotions, sensations and thoughts without preference. We say 'yes' to how life is unfolding in the moment. We don't reject or push away certain experiences. We are willing to be fully present with what is happening, which invites insight, and feeling in alignment.
When there is mindfulness, simple presence is intrinsically purposeful. Mindfulness and purpose are linked.
2. Recognizing The Preciousness Of Each Moment
When we live from purpose, we let ourselves see the preciousness of life, and acknowledge the limited amount of time we have so that we can truly focus on what essential.
3. Cultivating A Compassionate Attitude
A purposeful life is full of challenges, openness, learning and commitment. It's an unraveling of your deepest beliefs evoking much initial turmoil and letting go. Developing compassion is necessary both for ourselves and others. Opening the heart and being touched requires sensitivity and finding our own kindness is a deep treasure.
4. Embracing Not Knowing
Not knowing is central to purposeful living. The less we have to know what happens next, the more we can be fully here and receptive to new ways of being.
5. Listening To Inner Guidance
Living purposefully ties into guidance, and letting go of preconceived notions of how things have to unfold. Each experience allows for inner wisdom, if we are willing to investigate and explore its deeper meaning.
6. Finding O.K.ness Beyond Conditions
The more we align to purposeful living the less we find ourselves judging our experiences. We connect deeply to a sense of underlying o.k.ness that runs through all of our life's tapestry.
Hopefully this list will help you live more aligned and can serve as a reminder that purposefulness begins in the simplicity of being present, appreciating and honoring the wisdom within each of us.
